Papillion softball has exciting news!!!!!!!!!!!

Select softball is coming back to our organization. Select softball, also known as travel softball, offers a more competitive environment and is designed for players who want to develop their skills and potentially play at a higher level.

What makes us different from other select organizations is we do tryouts every year and everyone, every year, must tryout. We believe that 1, maybe 2 teams are only needed (for each age group). That way team’s talent isn’t “watered down”. Too many organizations create teams just to have a team, regardless of talent. If you don’t make the team, go back to rec and get better there. Rec is to help develop players so they can reach their goal. You can get better by playing rec softball regardless of what people say. We have a very competitive rec league.

 If there is money left over in your players’ account at the end of the season, you will get that money back at the end of the season, with a few exceptions like money that was sponsored or donated. We are a true non-profit organization. We do not find it necessary for teams to travel all over the US to get better. We will do mostly local tournaments (for example Omaha, Lincoln, etc...) Team Coaches will have the option to play a few out of state tournaments of their choice. Our focus is to keep the cost down for parents.  We will practice indoors at the Landing Fieldhouse and play in the GOSL League in the spring.
