All players who reside in the Papillion LaVista School District are eligible to play in PBA. Players outside the district are allowed to play on a first come basis, but can only make up 20% of any PBA team.
Placing your player in the proper age/division is important for their development of baseball skills and confidence in playing the game. You do not want them to be overwhelmed by playing above their level and you do not want them to be bored by playing under their level. Consider the following options before registering your player.
|Age / Format||Age / Format|
|4 Year Old T-Ball||10 Year Old Player Pitch|
|5 Year Old T-Ball||11 Year Old Player Pitch|
|6 Year Old Machine Pitch||12 Year Old Player Pitch|
|7 Year Old Machine Pitch||13 Year Old Player Pitch|
|8 Year Old Machine Pitch||14 Year Old Player Pitch|
|9 Year Old Player Pitch||15-18 Year Old Player Pitch|

Teams are formed using a skill assessment process of the 5 basic elements, Fielding, Throwing, Hitting, Pitching and Catching.
Teammate & coach request are will not be honored. Players are organized by their assessment levels and then placed on teams evenly using an open draft with parity being the goal. All players are required to attend the assessment - no show assessment day, means the player is not draft eligible and will be blindly drawn for a team.

11/12 Division Player Pitch
13/14 Division Player Pitch
Teams are formed via tryouts and play in the Metro Area Baseball League (MABL). Tryouts are held after high school tryouts. We do our best to place the boys, but we have limitations as it pertains to the number of teams we can field and the number of players placed on each team.
