Papillion Stars / Hawks

Papillion Stars

The Papillion Baseball Association offers an opportunity for a few of its players to receive additional training. This is achieved by forming player groups called the Papillion Stars. Players will be invited based on their skill assessments on record. The number of players invited will be determined by the coaches of each age group. Players will go through various skill tests, which will enable the coaches to evaluate and narrow the number of participants in the Papillion Stars group. Unfortunately all players will not be able to continue workouts with Papillion Stars. The Stars will have separate practices at a more competitive level, where they will focus on the finer details of baseball. This process prepares the player for possible advancement to one of the Hawks teams. Players will wear their Spring issued uniforms to practice in. There is no cost for players to participate in the Stars program.

Coaches will have additional information to answer any questions you might have. Anyone that is interested in being a Hawks Head Coach can notify any PBA Board member. After the selection process is concluded, all that have shown an interest will be notified who the Head Coach is.

Papillion Hawks

The Papillion Baseball Association offers an opportunity for its players to participate in post season Tournament play.
Teams are formed using a tryout for the 10 and under, 12 and under and 14 and under Leagues. Each team will have a limit of 12 players and although these are more competitive teams there will be minimum play time rules in place. Additional teams will be formed if there is enough interest and a Head Coach is available.
All teams are named the Papillion Hawks. The Papillion Baseball Association sponsors the Hawks teams towards their entry into the Tournament which is held in Carter Lake, Ia ( starts after the 4th of July ). Teams can enter other Tournaments also. There will be practices to prepare the teams for participation in the Tournament.
After players are selected to be on a Hawks team, they will need to be registered on our website where payment will be collected for uniforms and fees.

Participating in a Stars group is not a guarantee of placement on a Hawks team. Also, not participating in a Stars group, does not exclude a player from being on a Hawks team. Tryouts are open to all registered players.
