Participation Agreement

All players must have a signed participation agreement on file to compete in the spring 2021 Rec Baseball season. Please complete the form below and give to the coach of  your player's team. The coach of each team is responsible for keeping the agreement on file.

Welcome to 2021!!

2020 presented our organization, teams, and families with some unique challenges.  Though it is a new year, and new season, some of those challenges remain.  However, with the assistance and support of the community, we are all looking forward to providing a successful and full spring season for our young athletes.

Registration for the 2021 Spring season is NOW OPEN!!!

Some important notes:

Age Groups

In order to clarify age ranges and participation prior to the registration process, we encourage all applicants to review the age ranges below. 

Each age group is determined by the age of the player as of May 1st, 2021.

Any requests or exceptions to the age must be made AFTER the registration process and the player must be initially enrolled into their specific age group.

Players less than 4 years of age, or over 18 years of age, as of 5/1/2021 must contact the registration director for approval/instructions.

4-5 T-Ball:

  • Basic baseball knowledge
  • Non-competivite
  • Tee assisted hitting
  • For new and developing players

6-7 Machine Pitch:

  • Basic and intermediate baseball knowledge
  • Low competition
  • Mechanical assisted pitching
  • For new and/or developing players

8U Machine Pitch:

  • Intermediate baseball knowledge
  • Medium competition
  • Mechanical assisted pitching
  • For developing players
  • Preparation for player pitch

9-14 Player Pitch:

  • Intermediate/high baseball knowledge
  • Full competition
  • Player pitch
  • For developing players
  • Team formation by skill level assessment and draft
    • All players will be placed on a team

15-18 MABL League:

  • High baseball knowledge
  • Full competition
  • Player pitch
  • For developed players
  • Team formation by try-out
    • No guaranteed placement on teams

 

EQUIPMENT NOTICE!!

Prior to enrolling into the recreation baseball program, we want to bring to attention the equipment requirements for all ages.  This reminder will be presented later in the registration as well.

The following is required OR recommended for the respective ages.  PBA will only provide limited equipment not on the list below:

4-5 T-Ball

Required:

  • Helmet
  • Bat
  • Glove
  • Game Pants (Color determined by the coach)
    • Baseball shoes (Recommended, not required for play)

6-7 Machine Pitch

Required:

  • Helmet WITH Full-Face metal guard
    • Plastic guards, cheek guards, or c-flaps are not permitted for player’s safety
  • Bat
  • Glove
  • Game Pants (Color determined by the coach)
  • Protective Genital Cup (Male Players)
    • Baseball shoes (Recommended, not required for play)

8U Machine Pitch

Required:

  • Helmet WITH Full-Face metal guard
    • Plastic guards, cheek guards, or c-flaps are not permitted for player’s safety
  • Bat
  • Glove
  • Game Pants (Color determined by the coach)
