PRO - Papillion Recreation Organization
PRO is a non-profit, parent run VOLUNTEER organization which sponsors youth sports within the Papillion/La Vista School District and surrounding areas.
PRO is dedicated to the development of the community's young people through athletics. Our programs are planned, promoted and directed by unpaid volunteers who work together to strengthen the community. PRO provides supervision, instruction, uniforms and equipment for athletic activities.
We offer Recreational programs for Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Softball and Volleyball. PRO also supports competitive teams for Baseball, Soccer and Softball.
PRO relies on participation from hundreds of coaches and parents who volunteer many hours of their time to the youth of Papillion. Please contact us to find more information about volunteering with PRO. Our success depends on you!
Please contact any of the Board members if you are interested in volunteering.
Our belief is sports help keep kids active and involved, sports help to build character through competition and ultimately helps make better citizens and leaders.
To further this objective, the PRO Board decided to fund a scholarship. PRO Donated $2,000 and the Papillion/LaVista Schools Foundation matched the donation.
The scholarship are split between Papio and Papio South and the recipient must have participated in PRO. The Foundation handles the application process and selection of the recipients.
These scholarships are one way PRO gives back to the community. PRO would not be possible without the help of our 100’s of volunteers. Hopefully our scholarships will help students become successful so later in life they can give back to their community.
To apply for the PRO Scholarship please visit the Family Connections website provided by each High School.
