The Sports Authority recently made a generous donation to PRO.
The Baseball and Softball programs both benefited the most. Each program received 5 coaches kits.
For Baseball each kit included 2 dozen baseballs, 12 water bottles, scorebook, grease board and ball bucket.
Each Softball kit included 1 dozen softballs, 12 waterbottles, scorebook, grease board and ball bucket.
We appreciate their support.
This past year PSC purchased new team uniforms. We were able to work with a volunteer to find a home for our old uniforms and we were lucky enough to have the uniforms delivered to Jamaica and Haiti.
The equipment still had some life left in it and we wanted someone to be able to put it to good use.
Because of PSC there are now 500 jerseys, 200 pair of socks, 50 soccer balls and 6 soccer nets being used by Jamaican and Haitian children.
The pictures are some of those kids wearing their "new" PSC gear.

Our belief is sports help keep kids active and involved, sports help to build character through competition and ultimately helps make better citizens and leaders.
To further this objective, the PRO Board decided to fund a scholarship. PRO Donated $1,000 and the Papillion/LaVista Schools Foundation matched the donation.
The stipulations we had were that the scholarship be split between Papio and Papio South and the recipient participated in PRO. The Foundation handled the application process, evaluation of and selection of the recipients.
These scholarships are PRO's way to give back to the community. Our objective is to recognize a student that participated in a PRO sport and who wants to further their education and reach their goal of going to college. PRO would not be possible without the help of our 100’s of volunteers. Hopefully our scholarships will help students become successful so later in life they can give back to their community.
