Divisions
All leagues are open to girls and boys registered in the equivalent grades for the 2010-2011 school year. The goal is to form leagues with evenly matched teams. PRO Volleyball puts forth a lot of effort to make the competition as equal as it can, it is our experience that this environment is best for everyone to have fun, learn the sport, and to continue improving their skills!

How teams are formed:
Teams may NOT be formed prior to PRO draft, as this takes the fun out of it for ALL players! Teams are initially formed by grade level. 3rd-4th grade together, 5th-6th grade together and 7th-8th grade together. Years of experience will be used to try to make teams evenly matched. Any requests to play up a level will be considered on a case for case basis. Teams will be formed with coaches and coaches kids placed first and then a random draft for all remaining players with emphasis on years of experience in the end. The goal is to get evenly matched teams, which is a great fun and learning environment!

You may NOT request a certain coach, unless you are volunteering to be their assistant. There are no more than 1 assistant coach allowed per team.

PRO Volleyball puts forth a lot of effort to make the competition during the games as EQUAL as it can be and so there won't be several teams dominating the others. This has happened in the past and it was not fun for the ones on the losing end, and it cannot be fun for the ones on the winning end either. PRO Volleyball wants everyone to have fun, learn the sport, and to continue improving their skills. Thank you for your understanding in this process, as it is not an easy task with over 300 players and 27+ teams in PRO Volleyball.

Practices:
Begin in September. Practices can be held at any of the elementary schools in Papillion LaVista School District and the Papillion Jr. High. Practice days and locations are up to the coaches. All practices are after 6:30pm. Generally, we try, and do the best we can, to give the 3/4th grade the earliest time slots.

Games:
Games will begin in October. Regular season games are generally played on Friday nights or throughout the day on Saturday's. The majority of the games will be played at the Papillion Jr. High. Teams generally play 6 - 8 regular season games. Each team will also play at least 2 games in the end of season double-elimination tournament. Tournament games can be played on any day of the week, except for Sunday's. Season will end by December 11th.

Coaches needed!!
PRO Volleyball would not be possible, without the help of our volunteer parents and friends. Please consider becoming a PRO Volleyball coach. It would be greatly appreciated!

Under policies that have been set forth by the PRO Board, all coaches and their assistants must complete a background check and e-sign the Code of Conduct on our Registration Central page. Look for "Other Registration Forms" at the bottom of Registration Central page. These forms must be completed prior to our pre-season coaches meeting.
